We love Micro products and we want you to too! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or feedback, please call us on +31 (0)20 320 6409 or email info@micro-step.nl.

Though we don't have a shop, you're welcome to come and see the scooters at our address in Amsterdam by appointment only - daytime, evenings and weekends are all possible, but please call first to arrange a time. We have nearly all scooters, accessories and parts in stock, others can be delivered straight from our warehouse. Micro scooters are sold in more than 80 shops across the Netherlands (see link to stockists list at the bottom of the page).

For international orders, check Micro Mobility www.micro.ms to see if the product you wish to buy is available in your country. If it is not, please contact us and we will try to help.

Mini or Maxi for your child?

We recommend the Mini Micro for children from 2 years (or from 12 months with the Mini seat) and the Maxi Micro for children from 5 years. If your child is 4 years old we would normally recommend the Mini, though they could possibly already use the Maxi. There are several factors to consider when making your choice. The most important is the weight of your child. If your child is less than 20kg, it is easier to steer the Mini than the Maxi. The Mini is 1kg lighter than the Maxi which makes it easier for younger children to carry and to use. The Maxi has an extendable steering column, the Mini's is fixed. The lowest position on the Maxi is approxiamately the same height as the Mini. If you have a younger child who will also use (or later take over) the scooter then the Mini is perhaps the better choice to begin with. We know children as young as 18 months who love their scooter and children up to 7 years old who are still using the Mini.

Mini Micro
from 2 to 6 years
weighs 1.5kg
suitable for children up to 27kg (steering is optimised up to this weight but it is strong enough for a load up to 35kg)
handle bar is fixed at 67cm

Maxi Micro
from 5 to 12 years
weights 2.5kg
suitable for children from 18kg up to 50kg (steering is optimised for this weight range but it is strong enough for a load up to 80kg)
handle bar can be raised from 68cm to 92cm
